ABOUT THE OWNER

Curt has been a much sought after multimedia producer and musician for over three decades. He has created countless successful productions for his clients - which include Grammy winners, Hollywood actors, broadcast radio hosts and more...

As a musician, he has been a member of and performed with many groups throughout New England - including opening shows for numerous national acts such as Tower of Power, The Spin Doctors at venues such as Toad's Place, Foxwoods Casino and others. He currently shares his decades of experience and knowledge with his super satisfied clients (check out his reviews) at his New Haven, CT based studio.

Curt takes great pride and pleasure in constantly learning and improving his skills to offer the best quality, value and experience he possibly can to each and everyone he works with!

ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT

CMC Studios uses state of the art digital equipment that is absolutely amazing both in terms of quality and efficiency! The studio is based around a recently aquired custom Mac Studio. It's 3x as fast as our prior iMac Pro and greatly improves our already incredible efficiency! (full specs below)

Also recently acquired is the amazing MOTU 828 5th Gen - our already world class audio quality has actually greatly improved to beyond belief!

We also have a HUGE library of the latest and greatest sounding instruments that were recorded by the best producers in the world in famous studios that will absolutely blow you away.

We also use the best digital emulations of processors available, including from Waves and others. And of course we have excellent microphones, speakers and physical instruments to round out a complete professional setup.

Be wary of studios with long lists of gear they own - gear alone means nothing (especially today when SKILLS matter more than ever).

Being new to the area and in search of a recording studio, I was pleasantly surprised to find CMC, one that could accommodate all of my recording needs. Not only is the owner/operator a great musician, he is a fabulous engineer who is happy to utilize his true creative genius and expertise to assist in the production if needed. Meeting and working with Curt of CMC Studios has been a wonderful discovery, as it seems to me that his studio and state of the art recording equipment is arguably one of the best kept secrets! He’s such an amazing brilliant guy who does such stellar work, that more people need to know about him. Aside from having perfect pitch, he is a wiz at production and engineering. He is passionate about his work, and his love of it is contagious. He’s warmhearted as can be and cares deeply about making his clients happy. And he’s truly humble in the remarkable scope of his capabilities. He’s the kind of person that meets you where you are, where you need to be, and then brings out the best in you and your compositions. Very communicative, well prepared, fair pricing, friendly and personable, but above all professional and ready for anything!
I was truly grateful to find Curt because his studio set up was efficient, professional and just what I needed, especially so last minute.

When I saw he had dozens of no less than 5 star reviews I thought I would book an hour to start and see for myself. OMG!!!
